The Sailing Team “Orange Sailing”, sponsored by GAIN and RAMS Global, came first in the 53rd Naval Forces Cup, the longest and most prestigious sailing race in Turkey with a route of 555 nautical miles. The documentary about the exciting 84-hour challenge will soon be released on GAİN. The 53rd Naval Forces Cup International Offshore Yacht Race organized by the Offshore Racing Sports Club of Turkey took place between July 13-18. The winner of the race, which started from Emirgan in Istanbul and ended on the Muğla Göcek course, was the Sailing Team “Orange Sailing”, which competed under the sponsorship of GAIN and RAMS Global. The Sailing Team “Orange Sailing” consisting of Deniz Ilgın, Seçil Köse, Ege Nasuhoğlu, Güneş Çelikcan, Umut Efe Alpkoçak, captained by Berk Balta and Doğa Arıbaş, completed the race in 84 hours. The race, which is the most prestigious yacht race in Turkey and completed in a single stage (approximately 555 nautical miles) unlike previous years, was a very challenging and long journey. The documentary of the Sailing Team “Orange Sailing”, which battled both wind and waves for 84 hours from Emirgan to Göcek and finished the race in first place in the IRC2 class, will soon be released on GAİN.

 Naval Forces Cup: The Naval Forces Cup (South Race or Down Race as the racers call it), organized by the Offshore Racing Sports Club of Turkey for 53 years, is one of the most important symbols of Turkish yachting. More than 600 racers on over 70 yachts compete in the Naval Forces Cup, which is the most prestigious and longest course offshore yacht race in Turkey, every year.
